Most of you probably remember the "Liquid Mountaineering" video that went viral over the summer. If you haven't seen it, you definitely should. To save you from some back-breaking movements of your mouse and clicking finger, I've embedded the video directly below for your convenience. I accept your collective thank-you's in advance.
Of course the video is fake, but that isn't the point. The point is that the video is comical in how serious the "athletes" take themselves, and is worthy of praise in how much free press it gave Hi-Tec, the maker of the shoes in the video. After two weeks of its release, they even put out another video explaining that the video was fake. Water-walking obviously is reserved to stories of an ancient religious figurehead.
